Have some fun designing your Powder Room

The powder room is usually the smallest space in your home. So why not make a big impact? Create some wow factor that will leave your guests in awe. We’ve compiled our top 5 favourite trends to see in a powder room.

  1. Dark walls

Just because it’s a small space, doesn’t mean you can’t have black or navy-blue walls to really make an impact. Pair with a white oak vanity with open shelving for a classic look, or add a patterned floor tile to add a touch of modern style.

  1. Statement pendants

Add a large pendant light to really make a statement! You can add a touch of glam, or make a bold statement, or even add some interest by incorporating a geometric pendant. Below are some of our favourites.

  1. Wallpaper

Yes, you read that right! Wallpaper can be amazing in the powder room. Since there’s not typically a shower here, there’s no steam or humidity to damage the wallpaper. Try a black and white floral print, or perhaps a bright and cheery pattern. Or, you could be drawn to a modern geometric print, or just a textured wallpaper to add that subtle bit of interest. The options are endless.

4. Greenery

Why not bring the outdoors in? Create that tropical space you’ve always wanted. Add succulents to floating shelves, or even on your vanity. You can add real or fake ones, we won’t tell anyone!
