Starting Your Project Right
Your lifestyle and needs are important to us, from the start of the project to the finish. We would love to meet you in the heart of your home and help you bring together the package you want. Genesis Kitchens & Design ensures every detail is considered, so we can provide the most accurate price quotes, most suitable products, and contribute design suggestions to make your space come to life.
The complimentary kitchen renovation consultation consists of:
- 1-hour in-house design consultation and measure between business hours (8am – 5pm Monday through Friday)
- 1 showroom presentation of drawings and colour palate
- Base quote for cabinetry and countertops
- 1 revision and presentation of drawings
At this time a deposit of $1,000 is required to proceed. This will provide you with copies of drawings and specs. Once you proceed with ordering cabinets through Genesis Kitchens the $1,000 goes towards your cabinet cost and the design time is complimentary.
Upon signing on with Genesis you will have access to our preferred contractor list which provides you with a list of trusted contractors that Genesis has worked with, our designer pricing through Coast Wholesale Appliances which provides you personalized service, and colour coordination of all products purchased through Genesis.
Complimentary consultation is available for full kitchen renovations between business hours of 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday. Evenings, weekends, and all other project consults and in home measures will be billed at our hourly rate of $125.
Additional revision and extended project quoting will be billed at our rate of $125 per hour.

Genesis provides cabinets for any room in the house or outdoors. Kitchens, bathrooms, bars, laundry rooms, built-ins, studies, and outdoor kitchens are among the many projects we can accommodate. The cabinets from the manufacturers we represent are available in a large variety of colours and styles, and can be seen at our showroom in Coquitlam
Colour Consultation
Genesis offers colour consultation with many design decisions to consider, such as your countertop finish, backsplash style, or flooring. Our designers can help you decide on a perfect match— whether it is bold, conservative, classic, or contemporary— we are here as a set of expert eyes, ready to help you make the right choice.
Contractor Recommendations
Genesis will recommend one of our preferred British Columbia contractors so that all you need to do is choose one when you start your renovation.
